European Oak Flooring

Solid Wood Flooring

Our European oak is available in character grade and prime/clear grade.

1. Traditional 20 mm solid European oak floorboards, either square edged or tongued and grooved sides and ends (optional), stress grooves in back, micro-bevelled if required. Mixed lengths generally from 600 mm to 2.7 metres. Most lengths are over 1.5 metres. Widths are 90, 100, 140, 160, 180 and 200 mm. N.B. This product can be offered pre-sanded, pre-finshed, and/or stained in darker colours, or limed.

2. European oak overlay flooring
– tongued and grooved sides and ends, 8 mm by 70 mm, stress grooves in back. Mixed lengths from approx. 400 mm up to 1.5 metres plus (see oak overlay case study).
– Square edged, 12 mm thick, widths up to 150 mm.

Character and Prime grade

Character grade European oak contains knots and usually some variation in colour and grain pattern. Knots are sound, mostly less than 25 mm diameter, but a small number may be cracked or chipped but will have been filled and sanded. There may be only one or two knots in a 2 metre lengths. We sell much more character grade oak than prime grade. further information

Engineered Oak Flooring. We also supply a wide range of engineered flooring in both European and American oak.
